Year 2 Admissions
We are delighted to have your child join South Green Junior School in September. To help you get started and stay informed, we encourage you to view the Parent Handbook. It is filled with valuable information including our school day structure.
Admissions Process
As part of the admissions process, you are required to complete a Google Form. This form gathers essential information about your child to help ensure a smooth and efficient transition into school.
The link to this form will be sent via email, and it is also available here. Please complete the form only once per child at your earliest convenience. The deadline for submission is Friday 18th July 2025.

Transition Sessions for children
On transition days the children will have the opportunity to explore South Green Junior School environment, meet their new teacher and classmates and participate in engaging activities designed to help them feel comfortable and confident. These sessions will include a mix of learning and fun exercises to ensure a positive start to starting South Green Junior School. These sessions will be carried out on:
Monday 23rd June 13:30 – 14:45
Thursday 26th June 09:15 – 14:45
Wednesday 2nd July 09:15 – 11:45
Transition Evening for parents
Our school transition evening for parents will be held on Wednesday 2nd July at 18:30. This meeting is designed to provide parent/careers with all the information and support you need as your child begins their journey at South Green Junior School.
